Learn To Play Keyboard: Out With the Old Ways, and In With the New

Toss out those old, traditional methods, and learn to play keyboard with a better and more efficient approach. While you're at it, toss out any thoughts that this will be hard to do. The fact is, you can learn to play well, and do it so more easily than you ever thought possible.

Bonus fact: You can have a lot of fun learning. Remember the old days when students had to practice scales over and over, and then do endless exercises before they got anywhere near the good stuff?

Well, those days are over. There is a whole new way for you to learn to play keyboard which you can do in the comfort of your own home, any time you want.

You learn by playing actual songs, and understanding basic chords. What's the advantage of learning chords? Simple: chords are the building blocks of all songs. Once you learn a few chord patterns (which are formally called "chord progressions"), you can play a whole bunch of related songs very easily.

For example, did you know that the blues song Summertime and Beethoven's Fuer Elise use exactly the same chords to build their distinctive melodies? They really sound quite different because of their individual rhythms and tempos, but they are using exactly the same chords! The same chords are the building blocks of both songs.

What does this means to you? Simple: once you learn those two chords, then the door is wide open for you to play a whole variety of related songs easily. If you want to venture out on your own, you can do that too: Start making up (improvising) your own songs based on these chords. That is a lot of fun, and totally frees you from being stuck with playing only what someone else has written down.

There are some excellent online resources available which will get you started right away, and with surprisingly little cost. For as little as what one or two private lessons would cost, you can get access to video and audio training that will last you for years.
